How can we let him have all the fun right?!?!
Paid double the price due to some silly oversight of mine.
Nonetheless.... it was really enjoyable as the little boy enjoyed it totally and he was absolutely mesmerised and absorbed throughout the show despite his sleepiness.
He had told Ms Lin that 'Mummy said he didn't need any afternoon nap coz we're watching the dinosaur show"... which was absolutely untrue!!!!
I guess he was just overly excited about the show due to me hyping it up days before.
Anyway.... he fell alseep on the way there and I had to drag him up upon reaching.
I love the gentle giants 'brackiosaurs'. They look really magnificent.
The last part where mummy T-rex came out to protect it's toddler T-rex was amazingly thrilling too...
Scared my lil dino a wee bit though.
Maybe we'll go watch it again when the new baby is older. :)

Signed and Sealed
We're half way to owning our 2nd home.
Went to the lawyer's yesterday to exercise the option and paid an obscenely huge amount of cash (by my standards)
Signed the letter of offer from the bank.....
and we're nearly there....
In 13 weeks, we'll be the proud owners of our new home.
It all seem so surreal... just like it was yesterday that we were discussing about buying a new property and viewing houses to find one that's to our liking.
I hope all the procedures go through smoothly and we'll meet no hiccups.
Pretty please, God.

Sweetie Pie
I figured that if I don't blog now, I probably won't have anymore time once my little one pops out.
I have been wanting to write about this second pregnancy but time really doesn't permit.
Generally, I'm much bigger this pregnancy and am not as disciplined with my diet for this second one.
Little hunny bun.... aka Isaac .... seems to be quite positive about having a sibling up till now.
He has felt the little one kick him and seems to be aware of her presence.
He's even named her sweetie pie.
I really hope that they will survive well together... with minimal resentment and jealousy.
Dr Poon has given me the admission letter.... so it's about anytime soon.
I don't seem to have much emotions about this pregnancy ... maybe coz I'm too bogged down with the house, loan, Isaac's education plans, etc etc.
But I do feel a slight sense of fear ... will I be able to cope with 2 kids?
Without any helper?
I CAN and I MUST!
It's been a month since Lawrence passed away. This has been an eventful year.
Filled with mainly unpleasant events.
I really hope sweetie pie will bring more joy into our lives....
not that Isaac doesn't...it's just that I think we need more joy and hope in this world.
I worry much more now.... even about what if Simon also suffers the same fate.
I know it's morbid but it did really cross my mind and I figured that I will be able to manage but will be emotionally devastated.
Lawrence's demise has made me think about a lot of stuff.
Why did God allow it to happen?
What am I here for?
What really happens the moment our breath stops?
There are really no answers to these questions.
More so that now I'm far away from HIM.
Moving on to happier topics.....
Isaac is a joy... really!
I think he's one of the best things that has ever happened in my life and he's the best gift that GOD has given to me.
Never mind that he's mischievous and how others see him or even me... I still love the way he is.
I really pray for God's wisdom on how to raise this precious little one.
We're going to watch Walking with Dinosaurs-The Arena later.
I think I should post some photos here after the show.
Actually I really would like to write more in the blog coz everytime I read the past posts, it always brings back fond memories.
I shall make it a point to do so during my confinement.
I want record down my sweetie pie's milestones too!

Pageboy
My lil dino is going to be a pageboy for Andrew and Lilian's wedding.
He has been given the "mammoth" task of leading Hannah down the aisle before the bridesmaid and the bride.
The rehearsal on Wednesday started off pretty well....
Then the cheeky boy started to turn cheeky and walked his "Ah Pek" walk when he was told to walk slowly.
It didn't help that Hannah was also running off the first moment she gets a chance to.
I hope everything goes on well on the actual day.
I must think of a way to get the cheeky dino to cooperate...
Maybe I'll just dangle a bag of gummy bears at the altar....
Just maybe.

HOLIDAYS
Yay.... it's the June hols once again.
I can't describe how much I had been awaiting its arrival and it is finally here.
I can finally get some much needed rest.... never mind the meetings and supplementary classes on the 1st and last week.
At least I will have 2 whole weeks of rest.
The last 2 weeks have been atrocious.
With the persistent coughing and nauseating feeling,
every moment I open my mouth to cough or speak in class feels like a potential moment to puke.
But, I'm proud the say that I have persevered and survived.
A great big pat on my back. :)
Visited Dr Poon today and I saw baby and his flickering heartbeat!!! :)
My EDD is on 8 Jan 2011!!!!
Can you believe it?!?!?!
That's my birthday!
But we are quite sure that it will be earlier..... maybe even during the Christmas period.
That would be a wonderful Christmas gift!
Bu can also go on his special Maldive trip now that we are sure of the EDD.
I bet he must be heaving the largest sigh of relief ever.
Isaac's a real darling when he doesn't get up to any of his tricks.
The other day when I was puking, he came up to me and pat my back saying,
"Mummy, I help you... I help you to feel better."
What a darling!!! Even my husband couldn't be bothered.
Ms Lin has commented that he has been well-behaved these two days.
Hope he keeps it up.
Sometimes I wonder.... would I want a dull and obedient kid or an active and mischievous one?
Life would be so boring if the kid is dull but of course the bonus is that he is obedient and everyone will come telling you about how great your parenting skills are.
An active kid never fails to surprise you with his cheeky antics but when hell breaks loose.... you get stares and disapproving looks for your lousy parenting skills.
Anyway.... Isaac is definitely the active and cheeky type.
Well, I love him for that but it means having to work a lot harder to get him out of trouble.
I love my cheeky boy!

Puke Fest
How long is this going to last?
I think it was not more than 5 minutes after lunch that I had to rush to the toilet to puke it out.
The feeling of being nauseous all the time is killing me.
I can't wait for the holidays to begin....
Then I can get some proper rest.
Press on!
SGH HR called to say that I have been identified for the 2nd interview and a one-day work attachment!
The HR personnel also said that this means that I have more or less been selected for the scholarship!
1 year of all paid expenses in US for my Masters degree....... and it is all going to disappear in thin air when I reveal that I.AM.PREGNANT!
Why does this always happen?!?!?!
Am I destined to be a teacher forever?
I don't even want to think about it now.
I'm just going to let their HR work out my future pay and details beforeI mourn the loss of this precious opportunity.
Maybe I should start praying that they would be kind enough to defer the scholarship just for me all because I am such a worthy candidate.
Wishful thinking.

Baby
Visited Dr P on Thursday.
The ultrascan showed a 12mm dot.
Dr P tried to point out the yolk sac and I thought I saw the blinking heartbeat.
The feeling was really funny.
I can't describe it.
It's not really joy...just a funny queasy feeling.
I hope that it is due to the hormonal changes in me that I am feeling this way.
I want to feel happy about the pregnancy.
Maybe when baby is more formed ... I guess.

Shortlisted
I was shortlisted for the scholarship for the Masters programme.
Went for the interview yesterday and thought I did pretty well.
However, I don't think I will take it up even if they offer it to me.
Coz I will have to leave in June!!!!
What's going to happen to baby?!?!?!?
I don't want to give birth to baby alone in a foreign land!
This is so depressing... both time I snag something I think I want,
I get pregnant.
Not that I am unhappy about the pregnancy.... but the timing for everything is just so bad!
Is it God's way of keeping me in the education line?
